President Brad Jacobson established Jake's Flooring, Inc. in 1990 in Concord, CA. His wife, Sandi Jacobson, is the Treasurer of the company. The company has been located in Pacheco, CA, again in Concord, CA, and now in Oakley, CA as of 2010. Jake's Flooring, Inc. still considers Concord its home location.
"Jake" is the Jacobson's family professional nickname--whether it was Farmer Jake, Pipe Fitter Jake, or Nurse Jake at Mt. Diablo Hospital. The family has often been guilty of quoting, "No mistakes, Jake."
